- I retired after 31 years teaching elementary school in Alpine School District. I also spent 8 years in the Utah State Legislature. After retiring, I taught 5th grade at Odyssey Charter school for a year, then spent a year teaching Oral English at Shandong University in China, and afterward again taught at the charter school for two more years. I then went back to China and taught Oral English for two more years to post-graduate students at Shandong University in China in connection with Brigham Young University.

These include judgments of students, between students, curriculum, styles of teaching, styles of learning, timing, what and how to say to students, parents, and other teachers, organization, and whether to even get out of bed in the morning! ;-)
